Growing, Dreaming and Flying

Namasté, everyone.

Let’s see whether the future top models you can see in the photo can give Heidi Klum a run for her money. I’m sure she wouldn’t mind sharing a little of her fame! Oh, aren’t they little posers! 😂 And they certainly didn’t get that from me!

But jokes aside, I’m writing to let you know that all the children are doing very well. They’re healthy and happy.

Our Shivam, now 16 years old, has moved from Khajuraho to Rishikesh, 750 kilometres away, to train as a cricket player. Cricket has been his greatest passion ever since he was just three years old. Let’s see how things go for him!

Shivam is quite street-smart and knows how to find his way in life (although he’s a little lazy when it comes to school 😅). So, just to be on the safe side, he already has a Plan B. If he doesn’t manage to become a successful cricket player, he wants to learn Spanish and work as a tour guide, both in India and in Spain. Olé for Shivam!

Time goes by, and I watch “the children” grow up. I’m becoming more and more curious about what the future holds for them and which paths they’ll choose in life.

And as Forrest Gump famously said, “Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re going to get!” I sincerely hope that all of them get the most delicious chocolates.
