Another lockdown

Namaste to everybody,

here we are and continue with the second quarantine!

Two events took place in India in march: the elections, where many people gathered closley in the streets. It was accompanied by a lot of aggression and violence. Also a famous fair took place, the Kumbha Mela. This religious pilgrimage and faironly  takes place every 12 years, its a Hindu festival. It has been said that every Hindú should once in their lives visit this festival and should bath in the Ganges river. Showering with a pitcher full of holy water and also drink a couple of sips of it. It is believed that they get cleansed of  their sins, 70.000 people participated.

Many years ago I myself went to the Kumbha Mela, that way I saw with my own eyes the most polluted river in the world. I have no idea how they don´t all get sick?

At this moment we are with another quarantine. This time it’s worse, the children are very distressed because they don´t know when we will be able to see each other again.

I will stay in Valencia for now, since they don´t let anybody enter India at this time. Even if they would let people in it would not be a good moment to be there right now. I miss the children very much but we have to be careful, if you end up getting sick over there everything would be very difficult and dangerous. Thats why I´m taking care of myself in Europe.
