Namaste beloved Childsrights followers,

It´s March again, the month of the festival of colors! In the picture you can see Shivam, at the begining of the festival, throwing colors everywhere. At the end he was covered in so many colors that I almost could not even see the child 🙂

Last year I already explained the significance of this holiday in the newsletter. Today I will repeat for the ones who don´t remember: Every March during the last full moon India is dyed in brilliant colors in order to welcome springtime. For two days, the big social gap seems to disappear when everyone throws brilliant colored powder and dyed water towards one another as a symbol of happiness, welcoming spring, and that good may overcome evil.

In April, three of our children are going to get their high school diplomas: Rajani, Jyoti Sharma and Sonu. As soon as they have their degree we will rent them a student room. We couldn´t be prouder! This means we will have 11 high school graduates! BRAVO!
