VISIT

Namaste to everyone,

Thankfully, the rains have finally started, and it’s cooled down a lot. The children are healthy and very focused on their studies. They’ve all passed their exams and moved up a class, even Shivam, who never wants to study, made a great effort and passed. I’m really happy about that.

This month we received a visit  from Magdalene and Horst, my friends from Germany who live just 10 minutes away from my parents’ house. We are very fortunate that they decided to come all the way to India to meet their two sponsored children and to get to know everyone.

It’s their first time in India, and they are amazed by this chaotic yet exotic country. Thankfully, they’re feeling comfortable and enjoying themselves.

The children are overjoyed and absolutely fascinated by Magdalene’s blonde/white hair and her blue eyes.

Besides their visit, Magdalene and Horst took advantage and brought donations and also of some of our friends: Leyla, Aneinander and Can, Changhong, Ralf and Theresia, from the Sprachcafe, many thanks to everyone for their contributions.

After their visit to Khajuraho, my friend, who is a tour guide, has arranged a very interesting tour for them in Rajasthan. I’m sure they’ll love it.

If all goes well, we’ll have another visit soon from our friend from Salamanca. We just love receiving friends.
