GAYATRI

Hello everyone,

when Gayatri was 5 years old Childsrights we took her from a life in the streets because she used to live in a plastic tent in the slums of Jaipur. Together with all of your help we could give her shelter and a quality education in our house. Now she is 18 years old and a few months ago we enrolled her in the University of art and design. In the picture you can see her, wearing her first dress that she has designed and sewed herself. Beautiful!

The others are also very busy with their studies. It is so nice to see how these little angels are moving forward.

They are all well, except little Honey: in my previous news I told you about her: she suffers from a very aggressive bone cancer. She is being treated in a private hospital, and right now our dear Honey is very weak, she has lost a lot of weight, all her hair has fallen out (that’s the least problem) she is not even able to get up or walk. I strongly believe that she will get better and I would love to take her on a trip and show her the sea, and climb with her in the mountains to look at the amazing views. For now we will pray for the health of our Honey!
