Little children are arriving while others are growing up

How are you doing? Here in India everything is good so far, we don’t notice Covid too much any more and we can go on with our lives. Let’s pray it will stay this way.

The younger children are busy preparing for their final exams. Soon they will be finished and at last be able to enjoy their well deserved summer vacation which will last until July 1st.  I’m already thinking about what to do with them during this time. It’s not such an easy task since the daily temperature is around 48 Degrees Centigrades.

Our students in Jaipur are also doing very well, as you can see in the picture. They are very responsible with their studies and some of them have even started working part-time jobs in order to be able to help out with their expenses. I never told them to do so, but I am very proud and really appreciate that they are able to contribute. The life of a student can be more expensive then expected.

Two of our young ones are already independent, they are working and have their own income so that they no longer depend on any help from Childsrights. It´s a great pleasure to see them self sufficient. This is one of our objectives at the ONG.

Apart from this we took in 4 new children, they are still very young and need more attention. We are currently looking for Godparents who wish to support the little ones. If you know of anyone who could be interested please contact me directly.
