JUHI, OUR PET
Namaste to all Childsrights members and Friends,
How are you?
I’m back in Valencia and thinking about a fun little story to share with you from my last visit in India. I just remembered I wanted to write you about what happened in February this year:
One day I went up to the terrace of our house, when all of the sudden I discovered a little dog with a plate full of food sitting next to a nicely made bed. I called the children upstairs in order to figure out who this little dog was. They looked at me with innocent eyes telling me that the dog’s name was JUHI! The children explained that they rescued her from the streets. It really wasn´t my plan to have a dog in the house, but since she already had her bed, food and a name who is able to throw this creature out? Juhi is very friendly and calm, I`m really fond of her. Now I will not only miss the children while I´m gone but I will miss Juhi as well.
Thank good our angels are still on vacation, since the heat is unbearable. They tell me that the temperatures are rising up to 48 degrees Celsius. Definitely too hot!
I send you greetings from Valencia
Nane
