Happy Children!

Hello my dear friends,

Greetings from India! Today it´s raining cats and dogs so I have a good excuse to stay home and write to all of you.

Everything here is good at the moment and the children are very content. They just received a delivery of stuffed animals from Spain. A couple of kids from Valencia between 10 and 14 years took the initiative to send their stuffed animals to India. A present coming from their heart! Minnie Mouse is a big hit! You have to understand that our children have never owned any stuffed animals, they are simply happy. I really love to see their faces light up… they are so happy!

At school everything is well. Pinki, our oldest is preparing herself for entrance examination for secondary school. She would like to study law in order to become a Lawyer. For ten years Pinki lived in the streets and had to go through the worse abuse. She wants to share her story with the rest of the world and create awareness of what it´s like and what kids in the streets have to go through. We from Childsrights wish her good luck and she has our full support. My parents Elisabeth and Willi Gey will finance her studies. They are her god parents and very interested in her future.
