WELCOME DEAR SWAMI-JI

Hello to all of you,

Today I would like to share with you the visit of the esteemed Pujya Swami Rameshwarananda Giri Maharaj, my pillar guide on this earth. I begin by telling you a little about him.

Swami Rameshwarananda Giri is a Hindu monk of the Holy Order of Swamis, representative of the Vedic Community of Spain. He is advisor for Interreligious Dialogue and Relations with the Administrations of the Hindu Federation of Spain and spiritual advisor to the Hindu Forum of Europe. He currently chairs the Transcendence International Interfaith Forum and represents the Indian Religions in both the Elijah Board of World Religious Leaders and the International Mediterranean Conference of the Multaqa (UNESCO).

He is also president of PHI Foundation and vice-president of Fundació Mediambiental, director of the University of Consciousness, of the PHI School of Yoga Vedanta and Meditation and creator of Campus PHI.

With the creation of this campus, people are encouraged to live in harmony, work together, take care of themselves and everything around them, and share wisdom. Swami Rameshwarananda directs the Vedantic Yoga and Meditation Centre which is the soul of the project, the means of access to self-knowledge as essential knowledge, from which the other waters of knowledge are to flow. The University of Consciousness (UC) is the result of the coming together and the convergence of many people who are sensitive to this process of self-knowledge.

I recommend you to visit this beautiful place located in Acebo, Cáceres (Spain) and meet the Master in person, Swamiji, as we affectionately call him.

As I was saying, this month we received the visit of Swamiji accompanied by Swamini Dayananda Giri, a member of the PHI Foundation Board of Trustees and two members of the executive committee who are also good friends of mine. They came to Khajuraho to visit the children of the Nane-Home and gave us great joy. We organised a fantastic excursion and had an unforgettable time. For the last 10 years PHI Foundation has been supporting Childsrights in different ways and I am very grateful for this.

Swamiji also met personally with each child to guide them on their way. They are now at an age where they need someone to explain to them how to do things right. It is a big help for me because I am being a mother and a father at the same time and it is not exactly an easy task. He also blessed the new land where we are going to start building houses for the orphaned babies. It was a very beautiful and special ceremony where Swamiji laid the foundation stone and now we are ready to start the construction!

The children, our collaborators, and especially me, are very happy about this special visit. And now to say goodbye, I would like to share with you our thanks for the sunglasses that the PHI Foundation brought for all the children, donated by Óptica Zamora in Madrid: thank you very much from the bottom of my heart.
