Happy Holidays!

Namaskar beloved Childsrights Friends,

I’ve just recently returned back to Spain from India.

This month we celebrated Indian Christmas which is called: DIWALI. The streets and houses are all decorated with lights and most of the houses will get a new paint job. It´s the time of year when the people throw away old things that don´t serve them anymore, delicious meals are prepared and there are fireworks at night. The people are happy to begin a new cycle. Also if people can afford it they buy some new clothes. Kids love these celebrations because the whole country is wrapped in lights.

Every day of the year we normally have a short meditation ceremony every day around seven o´clock and once a month by full moon we celebrate an offering in order to pray for the wellbeing of all people in the rest of the world. These offerings are very beautiful, in the picture you can see an example of one we celebrated recently.
