Greetings from Jaipur
Hello beloved Friends and godparents,
Greetings from Jaipur. Thank God we are all doing very well.
The kids are very busy with their exams. They are very successful and in one month, they will finish school and their summer vacation starts. May and June are the hottest months. Temperatures rise up to 50 degrees Celsius and it will be unbearable. At the end of June the monsoon season starts and it should give us a little relief from the heat.
During their vacation time we will organize dance and painting workshops for the kids, the rest of the day they can play or rest. They really need it after they have been so busy studying.
We celebrated the last full moon with the children and made an offering for the wellbeing of the world. The children got all dressed up very pretty. I really liked the girl in the picture, she is so beautiful, proud and happy, she simply reminded me of a valencian Fallera. The offerings are very interesting. Mantras are said, songs are sung, there is time for meditation and a fire is lit where everybody sits in a circle of “speech” with the “Gods”. Since they have quite many in India. Mine is still Ganesh with his elephant head and big belly. He is the God of good fortune and wisdom!
The children and I send you all big hugs!
Namaste Nane
