Yoga session
Hello my dear Friends!
I am still in beautiful India and would like to write you a few words about this extraordinary country. I have noticed that in the last years changes have taken place in the Cities, including Jaipur.
Meanwhile you can not only order a Cappuccino but also you can drink a cocktail while you are listening to chill-out music. The strong growing middle class has adopted some westernly habits. For instance you will see a dog on a leash taking a walk with its owner or girls wearing miniskirts. For me it´s interesting to see the changes and I´m surprised how fast the western practices of come to India.
Soon the Kids will arrive home from school, our cook has prepared a very delicious meal for them. Today we will have Chapati (flat bread) with spinach and fresh cheese, accompanied with rice. This afternoon we will practice some yoga. Depending on the time and motivation we try to practice yoga 2-3 times a week. Without any doubt you can find first class yoga teachers in India and lots of people travel to India in order to practice. Unfortunately our children have to put up with an old rusty teacher like me wich always gives them a good reason to laugh. The important thing is that they enjoy their time relaxing and concentrating. After a long exhausting school day this is exactly what they need. After yoga they are able to focus again in the afternoon when the children have to do their homework wich can take up to 2 hours. The kids don´t mind the homework they are simply happy to be able to go to school.
We wish you all a beautiful autumn (it´s spring here)
Namaste Nane
