Thank you PHI Foundation
Hello to everyone, How are you?
Our Pinky just turned 23 years old, she still lives in Jaipur sharing a student home and will start her fourth year of law studies (online).
WE ARE ALL SO PROUD OF HER!
At a very young age, she always knew what she wanted. Her ability to communicate, strong character, bravery, fairness, and humility she managed to survive her first eight years of life living on the streets. Lets face it, she has everything it takes to become a great lawyer. In the future she would like to take care of our NGO, I think that is a great idea since Pinky grew up with the Organization.
Two months ago she was diagnosed with COVID-19 and was pretty ill and no doctor was able to treat her, since they were completely overwhelmed. Luckily I was able to give her instructions because I could speak with a doctor here in Valencia who gave me good advice and it worked! She was able to recuperate well.
All other children are healthy!
Healthy, but each time I notice them more distressed, they need me a lot. At this moment I won’t be able to go and see them in person, the situation is still very complicated. Thank god for technology, that way I am able to communicate on a daily basis with them and organise everything from Valencia.
Our students are able to continue their studies online and the little ones right now are studying from home with the help of private teachers. Even so, they really want to go back to school, normally they would have started July 1st. This year we don´t know when schools will open again.
Lets pray for India and of course for the well being of all people in the world!
BIG NEWS:
FINALLY we were able to start working on our land in Khajuraho, we started to build a wall in order to mark our little piece of land. Also we will start to plant the first trees. I really hope to be able to start with the construction next time I’m around. This depends a bit on the availability of our architect Victor. He needs to supervise the construction because if I take care of this part we all know that this would be a bad idea 😉
At the beginning of June I visited my teacher Swami-Ji at his school. It is located in Extremadura in Sierra de Gata, a beautiful Place called Hotel Campus PHI. Fantastic, with delicious food that primarily comes right from its own ecological garden. It´s surroundings are full of mountains and there are many natural swimming pools which I was taking advantage of a lot. At their ashram they offer daily meditations and talks where you can ask questions of any type. For the support of the children in India Swami-Ji gave us a check of 1000 Euro (THANK YOU VERY MUCH). He personally came to visit our angels in India and they were so happy to have met him.
I wish you all a great summer! We will be back in September!
Namaste
Christiane
