Fighting the virus
Namaste beloved friends,
I thought I would be back with you guys in May but I was mistaken. My flight was cancelled and I´m still in India. In all the years I’ve spent here this will be the very first time I will be here at this time of the year. May and June are the worst months in this country with a blistering and unsupportable heat of up to 48 Degree Celsius 🥴. I have been thinking that if the heavenly mother trapped me here then there was a good reason for it. I believe that it is for the well being and tranquility of our children in these somewhat complicated times and also we will be able to continue with the food distribution project. As you know the food doesn’t reach many people who lost their jobs and live in little remote villages and are trying to survive without savings or any help from the government. Luckily I had lots of time and many ideas in order to organise the project that supports the families that are deeply struggeling. We are delivering basic food like rice, lentils, milk and flour. The people are very thankful and bless to the food that arrives. Thanks to the economic help that arrives from Europe we are able to finance this project. Thank you so much for your solidarity. We also deliver facial masks which is somewhat funny at times. Sometimes they put it on top of their eyes instead of their mouth. We explain that maybe they will keep their beauty that way but they might die of the virus. We feel very happy to be able to be a part of delivering food we also deliver our love and affection. We are praying that this situation will disappear soon all over this world and that we learned a lot from this. But mostly that it won’t hit as hard as it did this time!
I hope to see you all soon in order to give you a super hug to each and everyone.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Christiane
