“HAPPY DIWALI”
Dear beloved Friends and collaborators, aap kaise hai?
We are all doing great, especially during October because we will celebrate the Diwali festival. It is the Hindu festival of lights and celebrated in the month of Kartika, which in the Gregorian calendar falls between October and mid-November.
The celebration of Diwali is once a year. During the festival people wear new clothes, let off firecrackers and watch the fireworks in the sky. It´s the Hindu new year and the most significant and happy celebration of the year. The houses are cleaned and decorated with special oil lamps or candles, which are turned on at sunset. Very tasty and sweet food is served; and presents are exchanged between close friends and family, like the one Ajay received in the picture. You can tell he is very happy! It´s a very humble festivity unlike our Christmas celebration in Europe or around the world.
It´s time for putting the bookkeeping in order, general cleaning, replacement of home equipment and house painting.
This tradition also serves to make peace with enemies.
I love to see the whole county full of lights and witness the happiness shared by all.
This being said I wish you all HAPPY DIWALI NANE
